Mi-plante, mi arbre, MATÉO est un mobilier urbain à la fois sensible et interactif. Il crée un microclimat au service du bien-être des citadins. Son feuillage digital procure du confort, diffuse du son et de la lumière grâce à l’énergie qu’il a captée pendant la journée. MATÉO, en réagissant à son environnement et aux variations climatiques, offre les meilleures conditions pour se reposer en ville. En été, il apporte une fraîcheur agréable tandis qu’en hiver il procure de la chaleur tout en abritant des intempéries.
MATÉO est imaginé en collaboration avec Jakob+Macfarlane, agence d’architecture multiculturelle et pluridisciplinaire, byVOLTA, agence de design poly-sensoriel qui conçoit des partitions de sens inédits et What time is I.T spécialisée dans l’anthropologie urbaine et l’édition de contenus numériques.

King Abdullah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, opened the international architectural exhibition "Towards the First World" in the capital Jeddah, on Saturday the 11th of October.
The exhibition, organized by the Makkah Governorate, is being held on Jeddah's northern Corniche for a period of three months and will showcase all the mega development projects worth more than SR10 billion, highlighting the development projects launched during this era.
His Highness King Abdullah was present at the exhibition to select and approve a limited number of projects. These projects will be executed in the near future to enrich the landscape of KSA and convert it into a stunning state of the art real estate dream.
